Ray is a graduate of the University of Melbourne from 1985 and completed a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of dental surgeons in 1990. In 1993 he completed a post-graduate study at Melbourne University in orthodontics and in 1995 completed his training in restorative implant dentistry in Gothenburg Sweden. Ray came to the South Melbourne Dental Group in 1994. Today he continues to take a special interest in fixed orthodontics, dental implant rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry and the whole spectrum of general dentistry.

Barry graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1985. After 14 years in Brisbane he and his family relocated to Melbourne. He has been at South Melbourne Dental Group for 18 years now. Barry enjoys the variety and challenges of general family dentistry with a special interest in helping his patients to improve and maintain their dental health. Outside of dentistry his main passions are marathon running, cycling, swimming and camping. He is also involved in community service.

Avron has more than 30 years experience in general dental practice. He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg having completed is Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) degree in 1989 and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 1989. He passed the Australian Dental College (ADC) examinations in 2003 and emigrated to Melbourne in 2007. Avron is a partner in South Melbourne Dental Group and he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry.

Adrian graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2011 and has been working at South Melbourne Dental Group ever since. He has special interests in implant, cosmetic and digital dentistry. Since 2016 Adrian has been organising annual dental volunteer trips to provide dental treatment to disadvantaged children in rural Vietnam. Outside dentistry, Adrian enjoys soccer and cycling. His interests also include architecture, design and techy gadgets.

Alex completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University and has been a member of the South Melbourne Dental Group since 2017. He has a special interest in orthodontic treatments for patients of all ages including both braces and aligners, having completed several years of advanced training in the field. Alex also takes special interest in implant treatments whilst also maintaining his service of the whole spectrum of general dentistry. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and prides himself in helping manage dental anxiety. Outside of dentistry he enjoys reading, writing for personal projects and keeping active. Alex also speaks Russian as a second language.

Nadia graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004. She then worked in Tasmania up until 2011 before joining South Melbourne Dental Group. She enjoys treating paediatric patients. Outside of work Nadia is an active member in the dental industry, previously holding the position of President of the Tasmanian branch of the Australian Dental Association as well as being internationally recognised as a leader in the dental community through her induction into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Nadia enjoys an active lifestyle and her three young sons keep her very busy at home.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees with Honours from the University of Melbourne and has been working with South Melbourne Dental Group since 2022. She is passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She has special interests in restorative and surgical procedures and is a self-confessed nerd who loves digital workflows. Outside of the clinic, she has led curriculum development in digital health for Melbourne Dental School, and is an active member of national and international digital health committees. In her spare time, she loves going to see live bands, reading, and learning about languages, culture and history.

Nathan graduated from the the University of Melbourne in 1996. He's worked in a variety of locations from bayside and rural private practice, nursing home visits and stints in remote Aboriginal communities in Arnhem Land. He enjoys most aspects of general and preventive dentistry constantly attending continues professional training to be up to date with new dental innovations and continue practicing with the high standard level. Away from work Nathan likes to try his hand at various home handyman tasks (not always successfully) as well as waiting for the day Carlton comes good again and his son stops obsessing about dinosaurs.

Alex completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Melbourne in 2019. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and prides himself as being gentle and compassionate ensuring all his patients receive the highest quality of care. When Alex is not playing dentist, you will find him in the gym, playing netball or watching whatever sport he can find on Kayo.

Ali is a gentle clinician who believes that the trip to the dentist should be a positive experience. She takes care to listen to the concerns and desires of her patients to work together to find the best solution for their situation. She graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2016 where she was awarded the Craddock Prize for removable prosthodontics. She has been working in private practice and as a clinical tutor for final year students at the Auckland Dental School before moving to Melbourne to be with her husband. She is fluent in Korean and practices general dentistry and orthodontics.
